Heads Again

A couple more sketches of heads for Picture Book Type work.

These are preliminary drawings for a book idea I'm working on.

Pot Bellied Man

with shorts and skinny legs.

Prof. Dave Smallpillow

Prof Dave Smallpillow from the Open University in about 1972.

Dave says, "The square of the sine on the tangent frangilates quintiply."

Gosh he's clever.

And he makes it all sound so simple too.

Motorcycle Courier

This is a sketch of a Motorcycle Courier i saw at Euston station, taking a cigarette break.

He kind of stood out for me.

The sketch isn't caricatured at all, this is pretty much what he looked like.

Pear Shaped Man, Hurrying

I seem to like drawing pear shaped people, I don't know why.

Some of my pirates were fairly pear shaped.

Pear shaped characters do seem a bit more friendly, rather than someone with broader shoulders.

Maybe that's it

Young Girl 2

And another

Young Girl

A more realistic sketch of a little girl's head.
