I thought recently that most of my drawing of kids tend to be of an indeterminate age around sort of 5 or 6.
So I thought I'd do some babies/toddlers.

ReplyDeleteSo much character... I always have trouble with expression and pose on children but these sketches have just the right feel. The boy with the block really does look like he's trying to work something out (a quantum physicist in the making maybe...? :) The pointing and dancing girls in the last post are also terrific work. You could easily and deftly carry a full 32 pg picture book with these characers!
