So much character... I always have trouble with expression and pose on children but these sketches have just the right feel. The boy with the block really does look like he's trying to work something out (a quantum physicist in the making maybe...? :) The pointing and dancing girls in the last post are also terrific work. You could easily and deftly carry a full 32 pg picture book with these characers!
They are lovely. My daughter is a toddler and I know it´s a lot of work, but I love this age. I will look at your other sketches now. Kisses from Argentina!
Pirates, bear's on bikes, ugly cats, sweet kids, whatever you want...
I do everything on computer with a pen and tablet because the 'undo' function saves me from the depths of frustration and despair.
I love doing what I do, and I created this blog to share sketches of stuff I'm working on.
Aaaa! :-)Small and cute, peaceful child, himself in mind... Wonderful compositions!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love them and your lines! They are perfect, no excess...
Very cute Jon! Particularly like the back view - a lovely line...
